Make them a nest of twigs – these look good and support the leaves and flowers as they grow – and cover the soil with moss or dried leaves. All three of these knock the socks off the rather coarser and widely available 'Grand S'ol Dor'. 'Ziva' and 'Avalanche' will flower first, followed later by 'Cragford'.

Site Indoors
Moisture Well-drained
Height 45cm (18in)
Spacing Plant the bulbs just below the soil surface, pointy end up with 5-8cm (2-3in) between each bulb.
Sowing, Seeds, Planting These bulbs have been specially prepared for growing indoors. For best results, plant as soon as possible after arrival but if you do not want to plant them straight away, we recommend keeping them somewhere cool and dark (like an outdoor shed or garage) at around 8-15°C before planting. You may notice a small green shoot coming out of the bulb when you receive them, this is the first sign of growth and should not be removed. Use a loam-based compost, lightened with some grit, place the bulb with its pointy tip just below the soil surface, and fill in around it. Keep the compost moist but not dripping wet.
Care Tips Plant the bulbs just below the soil surface, pointy end up with 5-8cm (2-3in) between each bulb. After planting, store them somewhere cool, like a garage, and move them inside the house once the shoots are 4-5cm tall. Use a decorative nest of twigs as support as they grow to keep them from flopping.
Flowering Once shoots are 4-5cm tall bring them inside the house, 'Ziva' should flower first in about 4-6 weeks followed a couple of weeks later by 'Avalanche' and 'Cragford'.

The illustration which prompted me to order these bulbs was either rather misleading or I've done something wrong in the planting. I put them all in the same container which is about 6-8 ins deep. The first set of bulbs flowered beautifully however they are now dying off whilst the rest are still at the shoots stage.

I thought all the bulbs would have appeared at the same time, but they have explained to me this might not happen.

I bought two lots about 4-6 weeks apart. For both lots only one of the varieties has flowered even though all bulbs were all treated the same. The ones that have flowered are the same ones from each batch , they were georgous and I was very happy with them. However even though another variety from the most recently purchased were planted in the same container as the ones that have flowered, all they have done is produce leaves. Doesn’t look like there will be any flowers. So 10 bulbs with flowers, possibly 20 without. Some of the 20 have still only produced short leaves and may eventually flower.

Disappointing
One third of bulbs in pot grew instantly and are now dead. and the other two thirds 2 months later have grown to 2 inches . .
Should have all been the same quality and standard

The narcissi are flowering and smelling beautifully if a bit later than hoped. And I followed your tip of putting twigs in to hold them up. Great
