Lathyrus latifolius 'Red Pearl’ is a lovely deep magenta-pink.
Lathyrus latifolius is the perennial climbing pea, covered with hanging pagoda flowers all summer and late into the autumn. I have this planted with early-flowering clematis such as the montanas to give a good succession of flower. As the clematis goes over, the pea opens its equally showy flowers.
