Tulip 'Marianne'
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
With its colourwash fluted petals, which take on changing hues throughout their flowering period, and a perky lily-flowered shape, it’s one of the most glamorous tulips we grow, yet surprisingly robust
Wonderful grown alongside dark, saturated tulips like ‘Nightshade’ to best show off the flowers’ fruit salad tones.
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
