Don’t plant tulips until mid-late October. Plant pointy end up 10-15cm deep, 8cm apart in borders (less in containers). You can use a mycorrhizal Bulb Starter.

Description

This looks like pink smoke as its buds emerge and it flowers very early which is cheering. The flower colour deepens as they age. Match it in the garden and vase with purple leeks (pictured) to make an incredible 'bedding' combination all spring.
