Tulip 'Bourbon Street'
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
The generous flowers are a dream for cutting and excellent in pots where groups simply glow, demanding your full and undivided attention
One of the excellent Triumph group, ‘Bourbon Street’ flowers just ahead of the Darwins on sturdy stems, so robust enough to withstand a breeze where more fragile flowers may struggle.
Makes a wonderful contrast flower grown amongst velvety deep red and purple tulips like ‘Vincent Van Gough’.
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
