Description

I can’t tell you how excited I was when this tulip came out this spring. I’ve mourned the loss of ‘Bruine Wimpel’ tulip, copper on the inside and silvery-blue on the outside since it disappeared from production 7 years ago but then I spotted this! And it’s even better, with several perfectly beautiful heads in just that same Bruine Wimpel subtle and glamorous colour range. Absolutely my favourite tulip!

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto. Tulip 'White Valley' is a favourite for this.

Care Tips

After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
