Description

Last year we had a trial here of so-called Peony-flowered tulips, the Double Earlies and Lates. I LOVE an early tulip and this new variety, photographed here in the second week of April, sumptuous for a pot, border or vase, comes into flower well before the middle of spring. It’s like the purple version of the ever-popular ‘Chato’.

Care Tips

After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
