- Spread of 10cm (4in). Plant 5cm (2in) apart with leaves and buds facing to get maximum sunlight.
- Dwarf iris grow best in poor well-drained, neutral or slightly alkaline soil.
Perfect for pots and with a good scent, this miniature iris has deep purple flowers with a brilliant yellow blotch. Grow it in a container by your doorstep for early-spring cheer.
A warm site with good drainage is a must. Alternatively, force on a sunny windowsill to flower in late winter.
