Description

Perhaps the prettiest of all the campions with whirligig flowers from spring to autumn. Cut the plants almost to the ground when they start to look tatty and they’ll spring back to flower again.

Care Tips

Unlike other campions, Bladder Campion (Silene vulgaris) grows in dry, calcareous grassland, often on scrubby field boundaries. So avoid moist ground or improve drainage if you want this to colonise.
