- Cultivation
- Sow in a warm place under cover in pots or modules. May be grown in borders or large pots, in the greenhouse or a sunny sheltered spot outside. Harden off before planting outside in summer and use cloches if nights are cold.
Care Tips
Better suited to greenhouse production. Pinch out tips at 45cm (18in) and stake. Water well and mist flowers to help fruit set. Feed with high potash until fruits set. Basil is an excellent companion plant.
