Butter is an award-winning landscape designer celebrated for her elegant, layered, and painterly approach to gardens

It wasn't a surprise to anyone to see that Butter would create an exclusive collection that's full of the brightest pom pom dahlias. The collection is a demonstration of how to combine fun and formality. The warm tones of the pink, apricot, red flowers are sharply interrupted by small and dark purple 'Moor Place' that serves its role perfectly as the "gatecrasher".

This collection contains 1 or 2 tubers each of:
  • Dahlia 'Copper Boy'
  • Dahlia 'Cornel Bronze'
  • Dahlia 'Moor Place'
  • Dahlia 'Zundert Mystery Fox'

All dahlia flowers are edible, scatter their petals on salads for flavour, texture and colour.

Pot up undercover in spring, place somewhere light and frost-free and keep moist. Pinch out growing tips at 20cm and plant out after last frosts. Alternatively plant straight into the ground when the frosts are nearly over.

Care Tips

Support with a stout stick, tie in every couple of weeks. In the south you can mulch deeply and overwinter them in the ground, alternatively, lift and overwinter your dahlias frost free undercover.
