Bea's Bulb Collection
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
- Loved by Pollinators
Bea – once head gardener here and now our florist – picked out this romantic trio last spring
Two beautifully voluptuous tulips are joined by a distinctive fritillary for a calm, discreet beauty which really wows.
All these bulbs will thrive in pots. Once the display starts to go over, either plant out into the border to enjoy next year, or allow the foliage to die back before lifting to store.
This collection contains 10 or 20 bulbs each of:
- Tulip 'Katinka'
- Tulip 'Green Wave'
- Fritillaria acmopetala
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
