Description

An invaluable climber for flowering in spring, with a delicious, fruity scent. It looks exotic but it is vigorous and easy to grow. I pick this too.

Care Tips

Akebias prefer a deep, fertile soil so incorporate plenty of organic matter before planting. East-facing aspects are best avoided as the morning sun can cause damage following an overnight frost. Provide support.
