Easy to grow

A classic in our Cutting Garden here, invaluable for flowering early, and long, and being very perennial

We grow it with a carpet of Polyanthus ‘Stella Lilac Lace’, a good combination for the garden and a container, the polyanthus flowering lightly all winter and then pumping it from March as the tulips push up through the crimson velvet primrose carpet.

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto. Tulip 'White Valley' is a favourite for this.
