For best effect plant in bold drifts on mass to cover the ground in early spring. Plant any way up in well-drained, humus-rich soil in September or October. Soak the tubers overnight in cool water and plant them in naturalistic drifts 5cm deep.

Description

This large terracotta pot, planted with Amelanchier lamarckii, sits outside my kitchen door and is underplanted with Anemone blanda 'Blue Shades' and 'White Splendour'. A totally gorgeous colour combination which lasts for two months - what's not to love! For summer, Erigeron karvinskianus 'Profusion' takes over.

This collection contains 20 tubers each of:

Care Tips

Soak in a bucket of water overnight before planting, this will start them growing quicker. They will naturalize in grass or in a wooded area. Add grit on heavy soils.
