Description

Heavy producing, slow to bolt, long-season spinach for cropping as a baby leaf, or mature spinach. This is a good one for organic cultivation, as it is disease resistant, including downy mildew (often a blight of spinach).

Care Tips

Spinach is best grown in a fertile, moisture-retentive soil improved with well-rotted organic matter such as garden compost. Leaves can develop a bitter taste if grown in soil that lacks nutrients. Keep plants well-watered during hot, dry weather.
