Description
An award-winning, old-fashioned rose, with clusters of peach pink double flowers and apricot centres. Wonderfully scented, long-flowering and good for cutting. Flowers repeatedly throughout the summer and into early autumn. An excellent rose for a pot.
All rose petals are edible. As you might expect, they have a mild, floral taste and can be used to decorate cakes, puddings or baking. They are also a beautiful, scented addition to jugs of iced cordial or summer cocktails.
Care Tips
Before planting bare root roses, soak roots in a bucket of water for at least 2 hours. Dig a hole that will accommodate the root ball comfortably and, to aid establishment, sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base before planting.
