Cultivation
Sow under cover from late winter to early spring, just covering the seed. Keep moist and warm. Pot seedlings into individual pots to grow on and acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures before planting out after last frosts.

Description

Beautiful elegant hanging bells – including the clanger – in the richest purple. One of the longest flowering climbers you can grow. This was the most asked about plant in the garden last summer. Grow as a climber or a trailer in a container and pick whole vines for the vase.

Care Tips

Grow outdoors as an annual or overwinter under glass in a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory provide plenty of growing support. May need cutting back in late winter to restrict its size.
