Naturalising Duo
- Good for Cutting
- Naturalises
Growing bulbs in grass en masse has become hugely popular and these two are excellent candidates
Fully hardy and perennial, the slender petals of ‘Purple Dream’ will return annually to contrast the gentle primrose of the Lent Lily Daffodil – our native self-seeding British daffodil.
Given a sunny spot in a free-draining site this combination will naturally spread to create small drifts. Also suitable for planting in pots or containers.
This collection contains 40 bulbs each of:
- Tulip 'Purple Dream'
- Narcissus pseudoNarcissus 'Lobularis' (Lent Lily Daffodil)
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
