Description

Native to the UK, this plant, commonly known as ‘Maltese Cross’, has bright, vermilion, cross-shaped flowers which are excellent for cutting and are favoured by bees and butterflies coming into flower in the May gap just when tulips go over. Incredibly reliable and long-lived, we’ve grown this at Perch Hill now for over 20 years.
