Lucinda Chambers, founder of Collagerie, loves a beautiful, everyday object with a bold design and has recently discovered dahlias and all they have to offer. This powder puff collection of curvaceous beauties, are perfect on their own or arranged with the odd head of hydrangea or twist of jasmine to make a wonderful signature collection.

This collection contains 1 or 2 tubers each of:
  • Dahlia 'Break Out'
  • Dahlia 'Otto's Thrill'
  • Dahlia 'Polka'
  • Dahlia 'Sweet Sanne'

All dahlia flowers are edible, scatter their petals on salads for flavour, texture and colour.

Cultivation
Pot up undercover in spring, place somewhere light and frost-free and keep moist. Pinch out growing tips at 20cm and plant out after last frosts. Alternatively plant straight into the ground when the frosts are nearly over.

Care Tips

Support with a stout stick, tie in every couple of weeks. In the south you can mulch deeply and overwinter them in the ground, alternatively, lift and overwinter your dahlias frost free undercover.
