Description
Famed for its larger than average flowers (so more bees!), strong stems, and uniform habit, this modern variety makes a fantastic hedge and, if cut back immediately after its first flush, will re-bloom later in the summer. Brilliant for pots too.
Lavender is an edible plant that makes a great addition to sweet and savoury dishes alike. Use the leaves and flowers for to introduce an enticing citrus-mint flavour.
Care Tips
Cut lavender stems for the vase when the lowest blossom opens. Trim back after flowering or the following spring to maintain a compact habit and help prevent the plant becoming too woody. Trim flowered stems and 2cm of foliage.
