Cultivation
Plant bulbs as soon as they arrive into small pots with compost and grit. Plant so that the top half of the bulb is above the compost surface. Wait until the roots fill the pot before planting out into the garden, at the same level.

A superlative collection of nerines, exceptional for their brilliant colour range AND for the fact that they flower in the same season as planting (from a 2L pot). Standard nerines take 3-5 years to settle in — not these garden flamingos. You’ll be picking countless vases this autumn. We were in our trial.

Care Tips

Grow in containers or in a sunny, free-draining position outdoors and mulch in winter. Be patient if flowering is poor in the first year. Do not disturb once planted.
