Description

I love crazy Allium ‘Magic’ which lives up to its name, lasting for months in the garden, with seed heads almost as good as when it’s in full flower. It’s underplanted with the pretty Allium ‘Eros’ which we use as a cut and edible flower. And of course, both are continually humming with all sorts of exciting bees. We have these in a line on both sides of our dahlia trial beds, and between them the salvias and alliums look good for 6 months.

This collection contains:
  • 3 or 6 bulbs of Allium schubertii 'Magic'
  • 10 or 20 bulbs of Allium unifolium 'Eros'

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Allium petals are edible, you can scatter them on salads. We use the more delicate types like cowanii and unifolium most often at Perch Hill.

Care Tips

Removing the foliage once it becomes tatty doesn't appear to affect the bulbs.
