'dahlia blue bayou'

I came across 'Blue Bayou' in the wonderful De Boschhoeve Dutch Garden and love it. A truly beautiful and nectar-rich variety, excellent for butterflies and bees.

dahlia 'happy single princess'

Part of the compact and floriferous ‘Happy Single’ series bred for pots. I love the bridesmaid sweetness of this and it flowered for longer, and more prolifically than its neighbour, ‘Twynings After Eight’ in our trial in 2020.

scabiosa atropurpurea 'olympia mix'

One of the longest-flowering and glamorous hardy annual cut flowers. This pack contains pinks, mauves, whites and crimsons. Scabious grows well on any soil and if I keep picking it, flowers from June until Christmas at Perch Hill.

pale penstemon collection

Like the colours of shells on the beach, this soft, gentle collection of penstemons includes all the pastel varieties which excelled in our trial last year.
