One for the tulip purists
A Triumph type with a strong stem and voluptuous full flower that grows well in pots or open ground.
Perennial in most soil types. Deadhead and allow the foliage to die back naturally to increase the chances of repeat flowering next year.
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
