Description
Sustainable gardening is increasingly at the forefront of our minds at Perch Hill, so we have been experimenting with planting lots of bulbs into grass to see which do best and increase year on year. I adore this swathe of three varieties down our drive. They look wonderful in grass and picked together for a bowl vase.
This collection contains:
- 15 or 30 bulbs of Tulip hageri 'Little Beauty'
- 15 or 30 bulbs of Tulipa clusiana 'Peppermintstick'
- 20 or 40 bulbs of Fritillaria meleagris
Care Tips
Can be naturalised in grass but make sure you don't cut the foliage until June/July. Avoid disturbance and never cut them right down because they may stop flowering. Top dress annually with manure.
