Description
I love this classic Oast Garden boiled sweet collection which we repeat year on year, ‘Negrita Parrot’ the BRIDE, ‘Antraciet’ a pretty stupendous BRIDESMAID with the colour-contrasting GATECRASHER, good old Tulip ‘Ballerina’. It’s a classic Sarah Raven recipe.
This collection contains 10 or 20 bulbs each of:
- Tulip 'Ballerina'
- Tulip 'Antraciet'
- Tulip 'Negrita Parrot'
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
Care Tips
After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
