- Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frosts. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. If seedlings haven’t appeared after 4 weeks, move to a cooler position for 4 weeks and then back to warmth.
Care Tips
Cut lavender stems for the vase when the lowest blossom opens. Trim back after flowering or the following spring to maintain a compact habit and help prevent the plant becoming too woody. Trim flowered stems and 2cm of foliage.
