With regular use, the steel may naturally darken, stain, or develop light surface rust if left wet. This is a normal characteristic of the material. Sharpen occasionally with a stone or file as needed (#1000 grit is best for general sharpening). Avoid leaving outdoors in prolonged wet weather. Do not use for striking. heavy prying or excessive force.
