Description

Like the most luxurious velvet buttons, we fell on this first year flowering perennial in our trial last year. Blooming from spring to autumn, it’s an excellent value border filler and makes a great and long-lasting cut flower.

Care Tips

Keep picking or deadheading and cut all stems back after flowering. They prefer low nutrient soil so don’t mulch or fertilise. Leave some seedheads for birds, goldfinches love them. Once established gaillardias are drought tolerant.
