Fritillaria meleagris 'Alba'
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
- Loved by Pollinators
- Naturalises
Established in a meadow you’ll never tire of their display, like festoon lanterns on a string
This glowing white variety of Snakeshead fritillary is almost more coveted than its distinctive chequerboard cousin. Their grass-like foliage lends them a wonderfully ‘wild’ air.
Looks equally stunning in pots, where you can appreciate their slender form and pendulous flowers at close range. Will naturalise finding its preferred spot in a field or lawn.

Can be naturalised in grass but make sure you don't cut the foliage until June/July. Avoid disturbance and never cut them right down because they may stop flowering.
