Avenue of Tulips Collection
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
Line your garden path with pots planted up with a vibrant display that unfolds from March into May
The show starts early with ‘Orange Emperor’ beginning to flower in March, the baton then passes to double early ‘Double You’, and then the shiny lipstick pink of Darwin Hybrid ‘Cosmopolitan’ and plummy peony type ‘Showcase’.
Superb for cutting, these offer excellent vase life when cut at their peak.
This collection contains 10 or 20 bulbs each of:
- Tulip 'Orange Emperor'
- Tulip 'Cosmopolitan'
- Tulip 'Double You'
- Tulip 'Showcase'
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
