Product Description
Lettuce 'Black Seeded Simpson' is my favourite large, crunchy and tasty hearting lettuce that has done exceptionally well in our trials several years running. You can grow 'Black Seeded Simpson' and harvest as baby leaf, or leave it to make huge and crunchy hearts. It is reliably hardy with us, surviving even outside in the winter.

| Thinning Distance: | 20-25cm (8-10in) |
| Harvesting: | 10-12 weeks from sowing for harvesting almost all year. | Care tips: | Water the drill before sowing to decrease temperatures if you are sowing in warmer months and sow in the evening. Grow under protection in the winter (September - March). |
