A mild and sweet flavoured onion that can be eaten young like a spring onion or left to mature for harvesting in August.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Direct sow April-September, in spring and autumn in rows 10-15cm apart. Sow every 3 weeks for a steady supply of salad onions.
Care Tips Keep well weeded, and mulch. Great for serial sowing with carrots, three or four times from early spring to autumn. Dig over and spread the patch with manure in the autumn before planting.

Storing Remove foliage, and store in a cool dry place
Harvesting 8 weeks from spring sowing as spring onion or 12-14 weeks as fully grown onion.
