Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow seeds direct from April to September in well prepared soil. Sow successionally every fortnight in spring. 
Care Tips Water well in dry weather and keep the soil clear. Growth brought on by overcrowding or drought will cause plants to bolt so give plenty of space and water. Plants need protection in the open garden - use nets to prevent bird and caterpillar damage
Storing Although best eaten fresh, freezing is the best option for storing
