Scent Unscented
Site Full Sun
Moisture Well-drained, Dry
Height 6-8cm (2-4in)
Spacing 20cm (8in)
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. After sowing water from the base only.
Care Tips Prefers a moist, light, sandy soil in full sun. Requires saline conditions to do well so these are best grown in coastal locations. Will tolerate a very well-drained poor soil. If the soil is too rich the plant will become floppy.

Sadly didn't germinate. Was excited about trying this as I live next to the coast. Am wondering if it would work if germinated in peat pods soaked in seawater - may try again

No luck with these at all - am wondering if they should be started off in compost soaked in salt water rather than just moistened ordinary compost?
Am keen to grow this as live on the coast so may try again
