Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow seeds under cover in plug trays or pots (avoid seed trays because, as with any umbelliferae, it hates being transferred). Cover with perlite. Sow February - July. You can speed the germination process up by sowing into a length of guttering under cover and transplanting outside.
Care Tips Parsley likes plenty of nutrient rich, moist, deep soil Not suitable for acidic soil. In the autumn apply plenty of well rotted manure.

Storing Freezing is the best method, although it can be dried too
Harvesting Pick leaves for fresh use or for freezing. Fresh cut parsley should be wrapped in damp kitchen paper, placed in a perforated bag and stored in the fridge. It will last for up to 3 days.
Cooking Notes Use to flavour stocks, soups, and sauces or raw in salads.
