Small plum like fruits, reminiscent of the sweet wild plums you can pick from hedgrows in late summer. May not fruit until the second or third year but well worth the wait.
|Soil Type||Sandy, Clay, Neutral|
|Moisture||Moist but Well-drained|
|Sowing, Seeds, Planting||Plant outdoors November - March|
|Care Tips||Mirabelles are self fertile plants, so do not need a partner although they will take a few years to fruit on young unestablished plants. As with all Prunus pruning should only be done come June to avoid health issues such as Silver leaf and peach leaf curl.|
