Sowing, Seeds, Planting Due to the erect growth of these cultivated varieties they can be planted closer together and easily managed for the garden setting.
Care Tips In spring, gently bend the new, flexible shoots into right angles and tie to wire about 18" off the ground. This way the tallest part of the cane grows laterally while the offshoots grow vertically, giving the plant a larger surface area to bare fruit.
