Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow under cover March, or direct sow April-July. You can speed the germination process up by sowing into a length of guttering under cover and transplanting outside.
Care Tips Add a few small branches to help provide support. This has beautiful flowers in the summer months. This grows well in container pots.
Storing Once it flowers, cut the plant down and hang upside down to dry - this will take a few weeks - then store the leaves in a cool dark place.
Harvesting May-November, 6-8 weeks from sowing. Regular picking will promote growth and prevent flowering.
Cooking Notes Delicious dried, fresh or made into tea. Try it in Sarah's courgette and lemon salad recipe.

The service is always great but some of the seeds are expensive, so they need to work! The yellowrattle didn't germinate at all, despite
several attempts. I will try again in the autumn but not impressed so

Sowed direct, but none germinated, so tried sowing in a seed tray in the greenhouse - nothing, very disappointing.

No blackfly on my broadbeans!

I grew summer savoury for the first time last summer and planted the seedlings in amongst my Broadbeans which had no blackfly at all! Fantastic, these seeds were first on my shopping list this year!
