Tomato ‘Santonio’ is an improved version of ‘Santa’, producing glossy cherry-sized plum-shaped fruits. ‘Santonio’ has exceptional flavour, combining just the right balance of sharp bite and juicy sweetness.

There's almost nothing better than just-picked home grown tomatoes. They're the epitome of the summer and early autumn veg patch and greenhouses.

Spacing Leave 45cm (18in) between each plant. Plant them deep, sinking them to a depth of 0.5cm below the seed leaves.
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow under cover at end of Jan-March for planting out in April/May.
Care Tips Under cover or outside they need staking, and regular watering and feeding for best results. Need trimming and support, pinch out the tops once they have set 5 or 6 trusses. Storing Tomatoes can be kept at room temperature for 4-5 days (they will lose their flavour if kept in the fridge), and will freeze well.
Harvesting Cordons fruit over a long period. You should be picking tomatoes in July and continue harvesting from the cordons until October.
