Small golden yellow-orange tomatoes with the sweetest flavour of any I know. Very prolific. We do a second sowing of this for planting inside.
If kept frost free, and the tips not pinched out, 'Sungold' crops until November. Its smaller fruit will ripen even when light levels are low.
Please note, illustrated packets are being introduced gradually over the coming months, availability may vary.
If you have ordered these seeds, we have had unforeseen delays and they will now be available early March. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Sow under cover February-March in warmth. Prick out/ pot on into small pots, allow the roots to fill that pot before planting out once frosts are over (or from late April in a greenhouse). |
Care Tips | Under cover or outside they need staking, regular watering and weekly feeding for best results. Water the soil, not the plant, tomato leaves and stems dislike getting wet. Pinch out the tops once they have set 5 or 6 trusses. You also need to pinch out any shoots that develop between the stem and main branches as they divert valuable energy from the developing fruits. Companion planting works well with tomatoes. Try basil underneath as a sacrificial planting – white fly is drawn to it rather than your tomatoes – or try garlic, nasturtiums or tagetes to repel aphids. Storing | Tomatoes can be kept at room temperature for 4-5 days (they will lose their flavour if kept in the fridge), and will freeze well. |
Harvesting | Cordons fruit over a long period. You should be picking tomatoes in July and continue harvesting from the cordons until November. |
Cooking Notes | Delicious eaten raw, roasted or cooked in Mediterranean dishes. |
