Sow direct at 4 week intervals from April-July or under a cloche from March. Sow seed thinly, in a 15cm (6in) strip, not a single line. Thin to 5-7.5cm (2-3in).

An early Nantes variety ranging in colour from white to yellow, orange and purple. Brilliant for serving as crudités or for slicing and cooking in the traditional way.

Care Tips

Keep moist to encourage germination but do not water frequently once growing. Cover with Enviromesh to protect against carrot root fly. As plants develop, carrots may be earthed up to prevent green crowns developing.
