Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Prefers a sheltered position in sun or partial shade. Plant in a woodland border or beneath deciduous trees in moist but well-drained soil. Ideal for containers and window boxes. |
Care Tips | Divide every couple of years in the autumn. If growing in containers, re-pot after flowering into new, well-drained, gritty compost with 4 parts loam-based John Innes No. 2, 2 parts leaf mould and 1 part grit. Top dress with grit. |
