This redcurrant crops earlier and heavier than most so is invaluable for that. It crops on both one-year and two-year-old wood, giving good yields straight after planting.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting These plants prefer a cool position and will tolerate part shade, although the fruits will ripen more quickly and taste sweeter if given some sun.
Care Tips Water newly planted bushes well in dry weather, but established plants are fairly drought tolerant.
Flowering May - July
Storing In the fridge, for up to three days. Don't wash them before storing or they'll go soggy. They can also be frozen.
Harvesting June - August
Cooking Notes Can be eaten raw or used in jelly or baking.
