Make the planting hole large to spread the roots out. Plant the new bush about 5 cm (about 2 inches) deeper than the plants were at the nursery – this will encourage new wood to grow from below the soil.

Description

A heavy cropping, self-fertile variety producing masses of large, shiny, soft pale yellow berries in long heavy trusses during mid to late summer. Whitecurrants are sweeter and less acidic than redcurrants and can be eaten straight off the plant as well as cooked or preserved.

Care Tips

Water newly planted bushes well in dry weather, but established plants are fairly drought tolerant.
