Cultivation
Don’t plant tulips until mid-late October. Plant pointy end up 10-15cm deep, 8cm apart in borders (less in containers). You can use a mycorrhizal Bulb Starter.

Description

One of the longest flowering tulips in my garden, and one of my favourites, opening in April and flowering well into late May. It’s huge, curvy and glamorous — a bad name for a splendid tulip.
