Syngonium 'Arrow' (syn. Nephthytis)
In this mix
- A north or east-facing windowsill
- Height on delivery approx. 25cm (10in); typical height once mature 75cm (30in)
- Common name
- Arrowhead plant
- Keep compost moist but not soggy
- Typically 45cm (18in) once mature
When young, the cream and green leaves of this plant are distinctly arrow-shaped but, as it matures, they become even more characterful with three or five segments. Established plants also produce long stems which can be encouraged to climb or trail, or be trimmed off to keep the plant bushy. Photographed here in medium Grey Tuscany Pot.
These plants must be kept just moist at all times but never soggy. They are best in a well lit spot away from any direct sun. Misting the leaves if the room is not humid is also advisable.
