People will tell you that these newly bred echinaceas are not perennial. Well that's not what we've found in our trials. These 3 have come back in the cutting garden now for 5 years. They make superb garden plants (without too much crowding), and are amongst my favourite perennials for picking, with a cut-and-come-again nature and excellent vase life. This collection contains 1 plant each of:
- Echinacea x hybrida 'Eccentric'
- Echincea x hybrida 'Marmalade'
- Echinacea x hybrida 'Irresistible'
Echinacea do not like to be crowded, give them space to establish in your garden and avoid spots that are wet in winter. Mulch around the plants in autumn but not over the crowns. Once planted, they are best left alone; they do not transplant well.
